“I am an independent filmmaker. Film and digital media are my passion. I am currently trying to further expand my knowledge of this field by seeking to learn new techniques and practicing my craft. During my free time I am also perfecting my talents in photography.”

This website was designed with the intention to provide some sample of my projects and what I like to do with my time. It features the following projects:

  • Films and Videos
  • Graphic Animations
  • Photography
  • Sculptures and Costumes

“I love the collaborative process when completing creative projects and working together with all sorts of people. On films, I believe everyone has a specific skills set and, as a director, I like to tap into people’s talents to let them contribute to the overall success of the project. One day I hope that I will be a director somewhere in the industry helping to contribute professional quality, artistic, and creative content.”

Palace Progress and Career Thoughts

So Palace wrapped a couple of weeks ago and all the hard work and months of preparation has led to post-production. We are working hard editing away and hoping that picture lock will occur in three weeks. Then we are heading straight into composing and color correcting and finally sound mixing. Follow the updates here at www.palacethefilm.com.

Also, I am looking for internships in LA for this summer. So far, I have applied to Disney, NBC Universal and Nickelodeon Studios. I will apply to Sony, Paramount, Marvel Studios next! Let’s see what happens!

Dean Silvers Seminar

Earlier this week, I had the privilege of attending Dean Silver’s seminar: ”Secrets to Breaking into the Film Industry: What the Film Schools and Academies Don’t Tell You”. For those that don’t know him, here is a link to his IMDB.

During the 3 hours, Mr. Silvers shared a wealth of information acquired over 25 years of being in the industry, particularly the independent film industry. It was also a great networking opportunity where I met other filmmakers and actors. The best part of the evening was Mr. Silvers’ request that I show him my short film once I was done with it. His son even offered his help in finalizing and revising the script! I know that this connection will be very helpful in the future once I get the ball rolling with preparing for and shooting my short film in the upcoming months.

Check out his website to apply for his seminar if you are interested. If you really are passionate about learning some valuable tips on making it in the Film industry and meeting an important connection in the industry, the price will be worth it.

And stay tuned to my site for updates on the progress of my short film. I will be directing it early 2013.

Check out another site I made

Last semester, I was entrusted with the task to design a website with the collaboration of Professor Fabrizio Cilento of Messiah College’s Film Department to display works created by Messiah students. This website serves as a platform to aid in essential networking for film students and to show any videos and projects they have worked on. In May, Cinemablography.org launched as a successful film blog that encompassed the creative works of three of Dr. Cilento’s classes. He hopes that in the following semesters, more of his classes will be able to contribute to the growing digital archive that is Cinemablography.org.
